Part 90 - Unknown Artists
Here are the many, the anonymous, the unknown artists striving in obscurity. I hope that eventually all of the artists whose work is posted here will be identified by one of you, my knowledgeable readers.
I received many of these in old collection that I purchased - Yes I do buy entire collections.
In a 1988 issue of Madame a few drawings appeared by an unnamed German artist. Does anyone know if more of his drawings exist?
This correspondant claimed that this illustration was from a 1944 or 1945 issue of American Magazine. I checked in my library and could not find it. Does anyone have a copy of the story?
I think I know who the artist is (a gentleman from the USA east coast - SL of New York). However, I am not certain and I would appreciate any information you may have. Another unknown artist modified a few of the drawings and added a few additional ones and I have included some of his work here as well.
