The Art of Petticoat Punishment

by Carole Jean

Part 45 - Flag Publications

Flag Publications was a major west coast publisher of fetish material. They used addresses in both San Diego and Los Angeles and were active from the late 1950’s through the 1960’s.

Their work abounded with forced cross-dressing.

Their principal artist, 'Rex', was quite talented and also worked for several publications in England including early issues of Janus, Mentor and Slant. If you know anything more about ‘Rex’ please contact me at carolejeanppa@hotmail.com

The photos they sometimes used to illustrate their stories were usually from the Irving Klaw female impersonator collection. These photos are now quite scarce.

Several of these books are personal favorites of mine and in the case of 'Guys in Girls Girdles' I expanded the original book with many additional photos and some additional text. I also wrote a sequel which is available only from this web page.

The Flag publications whose covers are shown below are now available here to purchase.
